Dr. Lou & Linda Jurva

Dr. Lou Jurva accepted Christ as his Saviour in August 1972, shortly after Mrs Jurva made that same decision of July 1972. After discipleship and growth, Dr. Jurva surrendered to the call to preach the Gospel in January of
1973 and attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Mo. He graduated with a B.A. in Pastoral Studies in May of 1978. Down through the years, God has allowed Dr. & Mrs. Jurva to serve as the Pastor of Calvary Baptist
Church in South Range, Mi (5 1/2 years), Missionary / Church Planter in Brazil (6 years), Assistant Pastor / School Administrator at Northwest Baptist Church in Toledo, Oh (1 1/2 years), and the Pastor of Sheridan Road
Baptist Church in Saginaw, Mi (23 1/2 years). While Pastoring SRBC, he also taught Missions courses at Grace Baptist College in Gaylord, Mi (6 years). God has also used Dr. Jurva to preach Missions Conferences and Spiritual
Warfare Coonferences through these 50 years of ministry. They’re desire is to encourage the Church as the return of Christ draws ever nearer.
